Biological Therapies

Biological therapies treat the person as a whole, a major difference in comparison to conventional therapies aimed at the patient in a "separatist" way called these days "super specialization". It has made its way initially in Europe in the 1940's and 50's especially in Germany, France, and Italy. It utilizes Homeopathy, Homotoxicology, Acupuncture, Phytotherapy, Gemmotherapy, Organotherapy, Lithotherapy, Immunotherapy as well as modern electronic and computer technology. This all started with Dr. Reinhold Voll in 1952 when he discovered EAV (Electro acupuncture according to Voll).

Dr. Voll was able to scientifically and objectively demonstrate that there are points on the skin that differ electrically from the rest of the skin, by having less resistance and more conductance. These are the points that we use in our practice when we assess patients. By assessing these acupoints we have invaluable information about internal organs and systems as well as interactions between them. Four years after Dr. Voll discovered EAV in 1952 he built the first commercial EAV machine available on the market. It was done by Kindling, a German company.

This machine has evolved throughout the years, today we have the latest of all, the Kindling 2000. With this equipment we are able to test homeopathic or other remedies against a particular EAV point without the need of administration of the remedy to the patient.

In Homeopathy preparing remedies by 2 were well illustrated by the Father of Homeopathy: Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. For example AS (Arsenic) is a very poisonous product. If we take a little amount of Arsenic and dilute it in a cup of water to decrease its concentration and toxicity, then shake it vigorously we would increase its energy and effectiveness.

Let us then repeat the same procedure by diluting further and further the Arsenic solution followed every time by the vigorous shaking called "potentization". At the end we will have a solution that physically has no Arsenic at all but energetically has carried very highly the signature of Arsenic itself. This final product is a homeopathic remedy able to treat not only Arsenic poisoning but any Biological disturbance that presents like Arsenic poisoning (abdominal pain, abdominal cramps, autouonomic nervous system disregulating followed by drowsiness, conia, convulsions, and in severe cases death).

Homeopathic remedies are characterized by specific EMF (Electro Magnetic Fields), that are emitted out of water molecules These waves are in the high frequency range.

Historically it is relevant to relate this experience that the master of EAV had in one of his presentations. While testing the EAV on a person form the audience he found that the person had abnormal readings on his prostate points. There was a break were the man was given populus a homeopathic to help the prostate. The man put the product in his pocket. After the break Dr. Voll continued the testing on the man. But Dr. Voll found out that the readings on the acupuncture points were different pointing toward a resolution of the prostate problem. Dr. Voll figured that this happened not because the patient had ingested Populus but had it simply in his pocket! By removing the remedy there was a reading where the indicator droped denoting abnormal findings. This serendipity showed Dr.Voll the property of homeopathic remedies.

Today we know that the Populus was emitting a very subtle form of Electro-Magnetic radiations that was able to interact with the meridians of the patient being tested. This is the way we are able to use EAV testing. By putting different remedies in the Circuit of the machine we are lead to picking the right one among several.

From this concept and its application was born the new discipline of Biological medicine called at times functional medicine. Dr. Voll started the Electroacupuncture according to Voll referred to as EAV.

Here in the US we have EDS that is that is Electro dermal screening. Some people think they are the same but in reality there is a difference. In EAV there are standards that need to be met regarding the material for the electrodes, the cable, the plates, the sensitivity of the machine, the calibration, the pressure of the stylus and several other things. Where as in EDS there are no standards that need to be met. For this reason there is superiority of EAV German equipment over EDS.
